Expert Answer
Cloning is the process in which an exact copy of a cell, any other living part or an entire organism can be produced.
In animal cloning, an entire organism is produced from a single cell of the body.
Steps in cloning:
A cell is taken from the parent organism that is capable of asexual reproduction.
The cell undergoes reproduction to produce genetically similar organisms.
The identical individuals produced from the single parent are referred to as clones.
The cloned animal is an exact duplicate of its parent in every aspect.
The clone has DNA which is exactly identical to the parental DNA.
